Born in Casalmaggiore (Italy) in 1974, he attended the piano class in the
Conservatoire “Arrigo Boito” in Parma (Italy) holded by Maestro Luigi Di Ilio.
In 1996 he graduated, with distinction.

As the best student of the previous year, he opened the academic year 1997-
1998, playing the Concert for piano and orchestra n.1 by Pyotr Ilyich
Tchaikovsky.

He continued to perfect his piano technique with Maestro Franco Scala and
Maestro Rinaldo Rossi.

In 2000, at the “Accademia Musicale Umbra” he attended an advanced three-
year course with Maestro Lucia Passaglia, and he obtained the “Diploma of
Excellence”.

In 2002 he graduated with the highest marks and praise at University of
Parma in Musicology with a thesis about Liszt and Thalberg opera
paraphrase, with Professor Giampaolo Minardi.

In 2007, with Maestro Roberto Cappello, he obtained a second level degree
at the Parma Conservatoire, with the highest marks and praise.
In the same Institute, he graduated the Second-Level Academic Diploma in
chamber vocal music accompainist (with Maestro Reiko Sanada) and the
Second-Level piano Maestro collaborator, (with Maestro Stefano Giannini)
both achieved with honors and special mention.

He won the First Prize at the Gino Gandolfi piano competition, in
Salsomaggiore (Italy).

He received important awards in many prestigious National and International
piano competitions as Premio Venezia, Concorso Musicale Europeo in
Moncalieri, Rassegna Internazionale Giovani Musicisti in Pinerolo, J. S. Bach
in Sestri Levante, Torneo Internazionale di Musica, Gino Gandolfi in
Salsomaggiore.

In addition to solo activity, he is interested in voice and chamber music and
he perfected them with Paola Molinari at “Centro Universale del Belcanto” in
Modena and with Robert Kettelson at Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He was accompanist pianist in many advanced courses and master classes
for singers and musicians, holded, among others, by Mirella Freni, Nicolaj
Ghiaurov, Katia Ricciarelli, Renata Scotto, Fiorenza Cedolins, Michele
Pertusi, Giovanna Casolla, Renato Bruson, Cecilia Gasdia, Barbara Frittoli,
Sonia Ganassi, Anna Pirozzi, Michael Bochmann, Davide Formisano, Sergio
Bertocchi, Roberto De Candia, Cinzia Forte, William Matteuzzi, Leonardo Di
Lisi, Lucetta Bizzi, Gaelyne Gabora, Gina Sanders, Vittorio Terranova, Wilma
Vernocchi, Francesco Zingariello, Damiana Pinti.

He performs extensively in prestigious Italian and European concert halls as
Luzern KKL, Opera of Prague, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Teatro
Bibbiena in Mantua, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Duomo di Milano, Teatro
Regio in Parma.

Since 2016, foundation year, he is the official accompanist pianist of
“Accademia Verdiana” by Teatro Regio in Parma.

He was accompanist pianist at Conservatoire “Arrigo Boito” in Parma, at
Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “Achille Peri” in Reggio Emilia, at Conservatoire
“Niccolò Piccinni” in Bari,at Conservatoire “Luigi Canepa” in Sassari, at
Conservatoire ” Niccolo Paganini” in Genoa.

He was Professor of piano at Istituto Musicale Pareggiato “Orazio Vecchi” in
Modena and subsequently Professor of piano at Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali
“Achille Peri” in Reggio Emilia.

Currently he is tenured professor of Accompanist Pianist class at
Conservatoire “F.A. Bonporti” di Trento.
