Programs Overview

The Festival is open for singers, pianists, violinists, violists, flutists, and pre-formed chamber music groups and offers a baroque music program and a contemporary music program for both instrumentalists and composers.

Pre-formed ensembles will be able to participate as Duos, Trios, Quartets and Quintets. Ensembles include piano/strings, strings only, piano/voice, piano/winds, piano/winds/strings, winds only and piano duo (4 hands).

Lessons & Masterclasses

Study with inspiring faculty from top institutions across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Enjoy personalized one-to-one lessons and take part in exciting public masterclasses led by world-renowned guest artists.

Concerts

Perform every day in some of the most beautiful venues in Tuscany. Share the stage with faculty members, play as a soloist, join chamber groups, and become part of vibrant concerts in Fivizzano and the surrounding towns.

Concerto Competition

Take your chance to acquire more opportunities! Every participant is invited to compete for the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the Festival Orchestra at the final gala concert, plus additional prizes, recording opportunities, and a special monetary award.

Orchestra

String players may be invited to join the official Festival Orchestra, performing alongside faculty artists and selected soloists.

Receive expert orchestral coaching from BBC Philharmonic Concertmaster Yuri Torchinsky.

Seminars & Career Coachings

Join dynamic seminars on music management, digital content creation, music education, music & social impact, research, and music entrepreneurship.


Receive career coachings from violist and educator Anna Krimm, co-principal viola of the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, who will guide you in shaping your path as a 21st-century artist.

Specialize in your preferred music style

Chamber music coachings

Join a chamber ensemble and experience the joy of making music together. You’ll rehearse, learn, and grow under the guidance of an experienced faculty coach, all while forming meaningful artistic friendships.

Italian Lessons

Live like a local! Learn or improve your Italian through fun daily classes (beginner or advanced) taught by a certified Italian professor. A perfect way to connect with the culture and with the community.

Recreational Activities

Discover the magic of Lunigiana: swim in crystal-clear springs at Bozzo delle Fate, explore medieval villages and castles, and taste unforgettable local food and wine. Enjoy moments of relaxation and adventure between your musical activities.
