Ensemble Guidantus

He graduated in violin at the Music Conservatory “A.Boito” of Parma studies with the maestro Franco Gulli, Carlo Chiarappa, Giuliano Carmignola and chamber music with Franco Rossi. Winner of many competitions including the “Lorenzo Perosi” of Biella, the ‘Stresa International “, the” Franz Schubert “and winner of a scholarship with a diploma of merit by association” Artis “in Verona.

He carried out an intense activity in various chamber music groups and orchestras in Italian: RAI Milano, Arturo Toscanini Parma, Orchestra Sinfonica di San Remo, Orchestra da camera di Mantova.

He was the 1st violin and soloist of the Orchestra Accademia 800, specialized in the performance of 19th century philological practices. With this group he performed concerts in Italy and Europe. In 1995 he founded the Ensemble Guidantus, an instrumental group specialized in baroque music.

The Ensemble’s repertoire includes music by Vivaldi and other famous composers of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, such as A. Corelli, B. Marcello, G. B. Pergolesi, D. Scarlatti. Corelli, B. Marcello, G.B. Pergolesi, D. Scarlatti and the rediscovery of music by rarely performed composers. Ensemble have taken part in a number of important music festivals, including “Incontri Musicali” of the Società dei Concerti (Milan), the summer festival “I Teatri” in Reggio Emilia, Como’s “Autunno Musicale” International Festival, the Salonicco Cultural Capital of Europe concerts, “Effetto Musica” in the Province of Modena, “Lunatica” in the Province of Massa – Carrara, and the Teatro Regio di Parma festival, among others. Since 2005, the Ensemble has actively collaborated in the production of Baroque works with the Teatro Asioli of Correggio (RE) and the Teatro Guglielmi of Massa Carrara.

Recordings can also be found on various digital channels such as YouTube, Deezer, Spotify and many others. He teaches violin at the Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza.
