After graduating under the guidance of Martha Del Vecchio, received his graduated music diploma at the G.Verdi Conservatory in Turin with top grades.

After, he continued to perfect his knowledge at a 3 months summer course at the Chigiana Academy in Siena. where he received a diploma with merit.

Graduated also in Chorus direction He later completed his piano training under the guidance of Massimiliano Damerini, with whom he is still collaborating today.

He works both as a concert pianist and with opera singers and strumentists in the concert circuit:he has directed chorals and for years he directed the Kids’ chorus the “Pueri Cantores” of the Bambini of Prague at Arenzano. He was the Kids’ chorus master for the production of the public agency “Opera Giocosa” at the Chiabrera Theater at Savona and now as the accompanying pianist with a class of choral exercises at the Genoa Conservatory. He has been also a coach and score reviewer of opera artists like Raina
Kabaivanska,Giuseppe Taddei, Leo Nucci, Luciana Serra, Ottavio Garaventa, Rosetta Noli,Renato Bruson, Luisa Maragliano, Gloria Scalchi, Irene Cerboncini, Barbara Frittoli, Keith Olsen, Michele Pertusi and he’s a room and stage collaborator for many opera productions in Italian Theaters (Genoa, Turin and Macerata) as well as for theaters abroad (Marsiglia,Nice,Lyon,Valencia,Palma and Palma de Mallorca ).

While working as a concert pianist he has specialized in the proposal of a precise repertory geared towards the piano literature of the late Romantic period and the 20th century, performing at the Salle Court of( Ecole Normale de Musique) of Paris, at the Skrjabin Festival of Bogliasco,at the Barbican Center of London,in a piano duet with Massimiliano Damerini, at the Autumn Musical at Como and at the International Festival of Cervo (IM). He has also dedicated time to Chamber Music in a duet with the saxophone player Roberto
Rebufello,with whom he won the absolute prize with special mention at the final music competition A.GI.MUS.,at the S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome.He also received 1st place at the music competition New Chamber Music Ensembles at Cervo.

In 2000 one of Massimo’s recitals at the La Spezia Civic Center, where he played Ennio Morricone’smusic, received much consideration and appreciation from the composer himself. This event prolonged a 3 year fruitful collaboration. He has been a piano vocal coach at the G. Puccini Conservatory at La Spezia and the N. Paganini Conservatory’s singers classes for many years.

The Festival was the result of a year-long work, made it even more challenging due to the current pandemic situation.
