Concerto Competition
CONCERT AS SOLOIST WITH ORCHESTRA PRIZE
MULTIPLE CONCERT AND RECORDING OPPORTUNITIES
SPECIAL PRIZE 2022:
PREMIO “STRADELLA” – 1000 EURO

Every student to the Lunigiana International Music Festival will have the opportunity to enter into the competition to perform as a soloist with orchestra during a concert at the end of the Festival. The jury, composed of faculty members, guest artists, the President and the Artistic Director, will make an indisputable choice of a pianist, singer, violinist, violist and cellist to participate in the concert. Beside winners in every category, multiple concert and recording prizes will be assigned to students.

Rules 2022
Every student who applies to the Lunigiana International Music Festival has the right to partecipate into the competition. No age limits. Musicians who are not enrolled in the LIMF cannot apply into the competition.
The competition will be held in one round and it will be with the accompaniment of a pianist. Each contestant is required to play the entire concerto/movement/aria selected.
Each contestant should select a piece from the repertoire list given on the website. No other pieces will be admitted. Program selected must be specified in the application form. No changes of the program will be accepted after May 30, 2022.
The jury is composed by LIMF faculty members and guest artists who will be announced on the website and/or social media during the Festival.
At least one winner of each category will be announced (voice, piano, viola, cello, violin).
Each winner is required to perform in the final concert(s) in order to be awarded.
Competition schedule is going to be communicate to the contestants by the beginning of the Festival.
Each winner might receive further prizes. Special prizes might be awarded also to other contestants.
Prizes are ongoing and the information will be uploaded on the website.
The jury has the right to decide whether or not to award a prize.
